Full-time Youth Transition Coordinator Wanted

Ability1st is seeking a Youth Transition Program Coordinator who will direct our Leon County High School High Tech program as well as identify and provide transition services to young adults age 18-24 who are no longer in public schools but have not successfully transitioned into higher education, vocational training, independent living or employment. 

This position further includes establishing mentors, cultivating business partnerships, providing leadership opportunities, soft skills training and career development activities to individuals with disabilities ages 14-26 who are either in high school, seeking a GED or in need of transition services following the completion of school/vocational training. Strong networking skills, a counseling background and good oral and written communication skills are required.  MS/MSW or BS with multi-year, direct-service experience is preferred.  This is a full-time position with competitive salary/benefits and flexible work environment.
