Ability1st is looking for a part-time carpenter to work 2-3 Saturdays per month. This position is responsible for supervising a crew of community volunteers to complete home accessibility projects such as wheelchair access ramps and low rise steps with handrails for elderly persons with disabilities. Designs, tools and all materials are provided by Ability1st.  Completed projects will be coordinated with licensed contractor. Candidates should be enthusiastic about working with volunteers and possess good communications skills. Level 2 background screening and experience with accessibility construction is required. Pay is $25 per hour.
