“Success Skills,” Field Trips and a Holiday Celebration
This November, students participated in their first trip to Datamaxx. Datamaxx comprised of Datamaxx Applied Technologies, Datamaxx Enterprise Intelligence and Datamaxx Professional Services, is the premier provider of communication systems, support and consulting to law enforcement, criminal justice and government organizations. Students had the opportunity to meet with several staff and learn about a variety of technology related careers available in their community.
Additionally,
students began their adventure with the Junior Achievement
program, Titan. Titan is an interactive web based simulation
that teaches students how to run a business through the use
of teamwork and through economic and management decision-making.
Students meet monthly to participate in Titan and to learn
the skills of business from community business leaders.
In December, students continued their “Success
Skills” curriculum. Students built upon previous lessons
in workplace ethics and communication skills and are working
hard towards potential summer internships.
HS/HT Student Board leaders encouraged the development of a Holiday Celebration. Please visit our pictures below. A great time was had by all!
A special thanks to our Junior Achievement volunteers!
