The High School/High Tech Advisory Board's role in this project is to assist and support Ability 1st in our mission to provide enrichment experiences to high school students with disabilities. such activities are designed to help develop career opportunities and provide activities that will spark an interest in the exciting career fields, such as science and technology, and encourage greater numbers of these students to pursue higher reduction.

The Advisory Board will perform the following functions:

• Represent the perspective of all stakeholders (including the business community)
• Identify local resources appropriate to support the program
• Recruit additional business participates in the program
• Help evaluate program effectiveness
• Encourage participation of persons with disabilities in higher education and workplace settings
