Construction has started on the Access to Independence Project. As you can see from the pictures they are creating the new entrance first before enclosing the carport.
Community support is making this dream a reality for Ability1st and the people living with physical disabilities that are served through this program. We are not at the finish line yet.
Ability1st still needs $10,000 to reach our goal and the project will be paid for!
Please help us spread the word that the need for durable medical equipment for individuals who have limited or no resources or insurance continues to grow. Since January 121 new people have come to Ability1st for one or more pieces of durable medical equipment. These individuals are our neighbors, living in our community and are very limited in their ability to move independently in and around their home as well as in the community without our Access to Independence Program.
